Adopt-a-Family! What could be more fun than shopping for a family or child who will be so excited to unwrap gifts this holiday season? Join in the fun by supporting the Homeless Prevention Council's Adopt-a-Family program. You can donate, you can shop...you can even get your Nauset Newcomers Activity Groups to give together or plan a shopping spree and dinner afterward! You can donate or sign up to adopt a child or family at our November 12th meeting Look for the HPC table to get matched! You can also go directly to HPC to get a match, just let them know you're a Nauset Newcomer! Check your email for more details (it may be in your Promotions folder) and help out today! Thank you! |

It's the Giving Season! Share With Others! Holiday shopping for people who don't expect much is a gift for the giver and the receiver! Step into the giver role and adopt a child or family! The Homeless Prevention Council will be at our November 12th meeting where you can sign up to shop from a list. HPC then ensures the gifts get to the person or family you signed up for. It's a fun thing to do with your activity groups - shop and then go out for dinner! A wrapping party is also a hoot! Want to help, but can't shop?

Join our New Film Discussion Group! Is a dark theatre, a flickering screen, and a box of popcorn your happy place? Then you need to join our new Film Discussion Group! This group will gather monthly to talk about film backgrounds, plots, motivations, and characters. Fun! ________________ Thirsty Thursdays is OPEN! Meet up with other Nauset Newcomers at Town Cove Taproom the first Thursday of every month to quench your thirst for beverages and friendship! Beer, seltzers, wine, & specialty wine drinks pair well with take out from area restaurants. First Meet Up is Thursday, November 6th at 5:30 p.m. Cheers! ________________
